Could your company help us?

Many local companies do, and they include the following much appreciated contributors to the ongoing work of Genesis::

There are several opportunities to support Genesis as a company. Have a look through the following to see how best you and your people can get involved in any one or several projects.

Corporate Event Sponsorship

Genesis regularly runs fundraising events which we encourage businesses to sponsor. These include: the annual Genesis Canal Challenge, and other one-off fundraising occasions (see Events page). Locally these attract a high profile and are attended by people from the local community.

As an event sponsor your company name and logo will be prominently positioned on all event publicity material, sponsorship forms, and press releases gaining your company very positive visibility in the community.

(Corporate sponsorship for an event costs from £200).

Skills

We really value help from local companies for example Lloyds TSB will be running mock interviews with trainees at The Wood Works. We would be really grateful if you can spare a couple of hours to talk to trainees at the Wood Works or clients at the Lifeline Skills e.g. confidence building, money management skills, practical skills etc.

Volunteering

We offer several opportunities for employees from local companies to work as volunteers within our projects, either as a one-off or on a regular basis.

Donations and Gifts in Kind

We really value financial help and gifts of items we need,

offers from companies to help would be much appreciated.

Fundraising Events

Why not hold a fundraising event for Genesis such as a dress down day or a parachute jump.  We can provide ideas for events, collecting tins, stickers, posters, leaflets, display packs etc.

Treks, Parachuting, White River Rafting and Nationwide Bath Half Marathon

Treks are excellent fundraising events for those who like a physical challenge. Why not encourage employees or colleagues to take part in:

• Running the Nationwide Bath Half Marathon

Companies can sell Genesis Vouchers to employees or customers who can then give them to those in need. They can then be used as part payment for food at Genesis Lunch Box and the Sunday Centre and towards accommodation and food at Julian House Night Shelter.
