Genesis Vouchers

Can be bought by the general public and given to those in need as an alternative to money. They can then be used to buy food at our projects (Lunch Box, Sunday Centre) or towards the Julian House Night Shelter. Vouchers are available from The Wood Works, Genesis Charity Shops, Furniture Project, Manvers Street Coffee shop and Bath Abbey Bookshop.

The Soup Run

The Soup Run is open at 7pm seven days a week, 365 days a year in the Old Cattle Market, off Walcot Street, in the centre of Bath, providing free coffee, soup and sandwiches to 35 people a night. Each night of the week is run by a team from a different church. People use the Soup Run for a variety of reasons, because they are homeless, or have inadequate kitchen facilities or their benefit has run out. The soup run offers support, a point of contact and a social meeting place.

Genesis Lunch Box

Genesis Lunch Box is open twice a week and aims to provide a cheap lunch and peaceful sanctuary in the hectic and chaotic lives that many Genesis clients lead. Lunch Box runs on Mondays and Wednesdays at St Michael's Church Crypt opposite Waitrose. Lunch Box gives a warm welcome inviting people into a short period of refuge from their challenging lives.

The Sunday Centre

The Sunday Centre is based at Nexus Methodist Church and is open from 1pm - 5pm every Sunday of the year. We offer a low cost Sunday lunch in a warm and friendly environment and Sunday papers are available. Afternoon tea is served at 3pm. The Sunday centre is run by a rota of church teams.
