HARVEST
FESTIVALS
It
is that time of year again, our food cupboard is empty and we
would be delighted with any donations of food from harvest festivals.
All
food given to Genesis gets passed on to our clients. We
give out about fifteen bags of food a week or 540 cans a
month!!! and about 100 food parcels at Christmas. So any donation
of non-perishable goods will be extremely useful and the recipients
will be delighted with the food. You can drop food off to
the Furniture Project, 31A West Avenue, Bath, BA2 3QB 01225 421111,
Please
ensure they have at least 6 months shelf life.
Life
Skills
We
now have a new Lifeskills room at the Genesis Centre, James Street
West and it would be wonderful if anyone reading this feels they
could offer some 1-1 support to clients who wish to continue progressing
their IT skills. Please contact Denise on 0792 1830379 if you
can help.
